SHOREVIEW, Minn.—AQC Industries, Inc. (AQC) is the leading manufacturer of advanced engineered duct systems. They are proud to have recently supported a Habitat for Humanity® home in Willmar, Minn. Moreover, the company donated 200 feet (61 m) of The BlueDuct®, which was recommended and installed by Chappell Central, Inc., a premier industrial, commercial, and residential HVAC provider in Willmar.
In addition to donating The BlueDuct® Preinsulated Underground Duct System, AQC Industries partnered with SVL, a distributor of The BlueDuct®, to provide engineering services to help design the optimal duct system for the 1,400-square foot (130 square meters) home.
“The BlueDuct® is the only underground air duct system we specify and install,” says Paul Krueger, project foreman and sales representative for Chappell Central. “An advanced duct system, it is easy to install and doesn’t leak or corrode. Also, it meets or exceeds building codes. It effortlessly passed building code inspection, including installation and pressure testing.”
A participant in Habitat for Humanity for over 20 years, Chappell Central also installed gas piping, the furnace, air-to-air exchange ventilation. Finally, the four-bedroom, two-bathroom rambler was move-in ready in November.
